We are a not-for-profit partnership (Emma Davies (me) and Philippa James) bringing photobooks by women to new audiences. We value the joy of holding a physical book and we want to share the diverse library we are building with as many people as possible.

Origin
Philippa and I met on our MA Photography at Falmouth University. As part of this degree we were invited to work with Russet Lederman of 10x10 Photobooks to create an event inspired by their publication What They Saw: Historical Photobooks by Women 1843-1999. What started as a one-off pop-up reading room as part of Photo Oxford has grown (and keeps growing) into a touring library of more than fifty books.
